The Boston Bruins will attempt to rebound from two weekend losses when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
Tampa Bay may just be what the doctor ordered for the Bruins. They have lost three in a row, including a 4-2 home loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday.
The Bruins and Lightning have met twice so far this season, and have split those games. In both meetings, each team relied on their big offensive powerhouses - David Krejci was key in the Bruins' October 4-1 win, while Steven Stamkos was just as key in the Lightning's January 5-3 victory.
In goal for Tampa Bay will be rookie Dustin Tokarski, who is 0-1-1 so far in his short time called up from the AHL. Marty Turco will get his first start in goal for the Bruins since being signed last week to replace an injured Tuukka Rask. Turco was solid, if not spectacular, in his first game action in relief for Tim Thomas during Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.
Bruins assistant captain Patrice Bergeron will be a game-time decision after suffering a lower body injury after blocking a shot in Sunday's game. The Bruins will dress 13 forwards.
