Nathan Horton Injury Update: Forward Out With Concussion Against Washington Capitals

Boston Bruins forward Nathan Horton will miss Tuesday night's game against the Washington Capitals due to a mild concussion he suffered Sunday against the Philadelphia Flyers, according to ESPN Boston.

The Bruins have a week off after Tuesday's game due to NHL All-Star Game festivities, which should be useful as Horton continues his recuperation. Bruins coach Claude Julien said Horton is doing as well as can be expected and is still considered day-to-day.

"He's doing as good as he can for a guy with a mild concussion," said Bruins coach Claude Julien. "He didn't skate today and he's still suffering from mild headaches. He's day-to-day and hopefully by the end of this five-day break, hopefully we'll have the news we want to hear."

After meeting the Capitals, the Bruins return to the ice next Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators.
