Jordan Caron Recalled By Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins recalled forward Jordan Caron from the Providence Bruins, continuing the carousel Caron has ridden this season between the big club and its AHL affiliate.

Caron's latest stint in Providence began on Dec. 23 and lasted four games, during which the 21-year old forward registered one assist. In nine games with Providence this season, Caron has one goal and five assists for six points. He has played 13 games with the Boston Bruins, notching one goal and two assists for three points.

Caron skated with the NHL's Bruins during the team's practice on Monday, being used as a fourth forward on a line consisting of Shawn Thornton, Gregory Campbell and Daniel Paille.

The Bruins return to the ice on Wednesday night against the New Jersey Devils after having their seven-game winning streak snapped by the Dallas Stars on Saturday night.
