Bruins Vs. Senators: Tim Thomas, Boston Host Ottawa At TD Garden

Tim Thomas gets the start in between the pipes as the Boston Bruins take to the ice for the second and final home game of the 2011 preseason as the B's battle the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. EDT (TV/Radio: NESN/ WBZ-FM 98.5 The Sports Hub).

Boston (3-0-1) is coming off of three straight wins, two of which came against the rival Montreal Canadiens over the weekend, and have two games remaining in the preseason before opening up the regular season next Thursday.

The B's crushed the Canadiens, 7-3, on Sunday night but only won 2-1 in their game against the Habs on Monday night at the Bell Centre. Tyler Seguin scored one goal apiece in each of Boston's games against Montreal.

Kevin Paul DuPont of The Boston Globe was at Bruins practice on Thursday morning, and released the lines and pairings from this morning's skate on the Globe's B's blog.

DuPont also points out that fans should keep an eye on the battles between Jordan Caron and Chris Clark for the 13th and final forward spot as well as the battle between Steven Kampfer and Matt Bartkowski for the team's seventh defensive spot.

In addition, DuPont also wrote that Seguin, Thornton, MacDermid, Suave, Seidenberg, Boychuk and Khubodin will all be healtyh scratches for Thursday night's game.
