Boston Bruins Training Camp 2011: Zdeno Chara Is Back, B's Make Cuts

Zdeno Chara is back and feeling much better after taking a puck off his left leg during Monday's practice that caused a contusion. Chara left the ice after the hit on Monday and was held out of Tuesday's black and white scrimmage.

In addition, according to WEEI.com's DJ Bean, defenseman Joe Corvo was held out of practice Wednesday after suffering from a tight groin during the scrimmage on Tuesday. David Krejci left Wednesday's practice with the same injury, according to Bean.

The Bruins also announced their first round of camp cuts, as they have released Anthony Camara, Tyler Randell, Yannick Riendeau, Stefan Chaput, Calle Ridderwall and Kyle MacKinnon from the NHL roster. Camara, the team's third-round draft pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, will return to the OHL's Windsor Spitfires while the remaining players have been promoted to the AHL's Providence Bruins.
