Stanley Cup About To Start Its Globe-Trotting

The NHL released its 2011-12 regular season schedule about two weeks ago, but a perhaps more intriguing schedule was posted this morning on NESN.com, among other sites.

That schedule is the one that lists where members of the Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins will be spending their day (or days, in the case of Tim Thomas) with Lord Stanley's chalice:

Nathan Horton, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Tomas Kaberle, Kladno, Czech Republic

David Krejci, Sternbeck, Czech Republic

Zdeno Chara, Trencin, Slovakia

Tuukka Rask, Savonlinna, Finland

Shawn Thornton, Oshawa, Ontario

Daniel Paille, Welland, Ontario

Rich Peverley, Guelph, Ontario

Gregory Campbell, Tilssonburg, Ontario

Tyler Seguin, Brampton, Ontario

Marc Savard, Peterborough, Ontario

Chris Kelly, Ottawa, Ontario

Patrice Bergeron, Quebec City, Quebec

Mark Recchi, Kamloops, British Columbia

Milan Lucic, Vancouver, British Columbia

Shane Hnidy, Neepawa, Manitoba

Johnny Boychuk, Edmonton, Alberta

Adam McQuaid, Prince Edward Island (unspecified)

Brad Marchand, Nova Scotia (unspecified)

Michael Ryder, Newfoundland (unspecified)

Tim Thomas, Flint, Mich.

Andrew Ference and Dennis Seidenberg weren't listed on the report, but it's expected that Ference will take the Cup back to Edmonton and Seidenberg will bring it with him to Germany.

The dates which the players will have their day with the Cup weren't listed - and that's probably for the better.
