Bruins' Stanley Cup Summer Continues

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, your DVRs are now free to record other material.

Not that anyone's going to be deleting game seven anytime soon, but the Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup Championship DVD was released to a full house at the Boston Loews Theater on Monday night.

Andrew Ference, Brad Marchand and two-time Cup winner Shawn Thornton were on hand to celebrate the release, and none of them had any shortage of memories to share.

"I can't go walk my dog without three people stopping me to shake my hand," said Thornton, who said that he's beginning to understand why Boston athletes don't spend much time in public.

"It's been great - I think you expected it to be great, but it's been better than expected," the winger continued.

Marchand's presence was a bit of a surprise since he isn't technically under contract with the team, but he assured Bruins fans that he'll be back for more.

"Yeah, everybody knows this is where I want to play," Marchand said when asked to promise that he'd be back for the 2011-12 season.
