Either Alex Burrows Is A 'Punk' Or Patrice Bergeron Needs A Tetanus Shot

In Wednesday night's Game 1of the Stanley Cup Finals, the Vancouver Canucks' Alex Burrows was seen biting the finger of the Boston Bruins' Patrice Bergeron late in the first period. Burrows was assessed a four-minute penalty but said afterward, "He had his finger in my mouth, but I don't think I bit him."

Now the debate rages on about whether or not Burrows should be suspended for Saturday night's Game 2. Does Burrows deserve that kind of penalty? Depends who you ask (and where they live).

Alex Burrows

Punk.

Make some room, Matt Cooke. There's a new villain in Bruins Nation.

Meanwhile, in Vancouver ...

Come on, Patrice Bergeron.

It's a man's game. Get a tetanus shot, and move on.

Maybe Alex Burrows had no idea that was your finger in his mouth - it was a 5 o'clock game, the eating patterns were off a little, and he was hungry. Maybe he thought it was some sort of hors d'oeuvre, like a cocktail wiener.
