VIDEO: Tuukka Rask's Save Earns Confidence, With Help From Kaberle

After an up-and-down season, Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask gave a fantastic performance in a 3-2 overtime win Tuesday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. It included some saves that Bruins fans have come to expect from teammate Tim Thomas. Rask bettered his season record to 10-12, and showed that when his teammates falter, he can be relied on to keep them in the game.

During overtime, Rask teamed up with recently acquired defenseman Tomas Kaberle for saves on a desperate and digging Columbus forward line that resembled a game of ping-pong.

Said head coach Claude Julien to the media post-game:

"We had to kill six penalties tonight...and probably the best penalty killer tonight was our goaltender. He made some outstanding saves and it’s nice to see Tuukka play that well and certainly it’ll give him and the rest of the team confidence."
