Neither team found the back of the net in the second period, and the Jets still hold a 1-0 lead going into the third period.
The Bruins did manage to put up multiple shots on net, outshooting the Jets 17-10 in the second period alone. Overall they have 27 shots through two frames, and have held the Jets to just 21 in that time.
The power play couldn't produce for the Black and Gold though, and the Bruins have gone 0-3 with that extra man. They have 12 shots on net, but nothing to show for it. It is showing promise, and they are getting the chances, but they can't seem to find the shot to make it count.
For the first time in what seems forever, Zdeno Chara is not the man with the most ice time tonight. Defenseman Dennis Seidenberg put up 17:11 on the ice, whereas Chara had just 16:50.
