Bruins Vs. Maple Leafs: B's Open December Against Division Rival Toronto

While the Maple Leafs are pulling out their hair trying to figure out the Bruins, the B's are enjoying the view from the top of the standings before hosting them at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday night at TD Garden (TV/Radio: NESN/WBZ-FM).

Both teams have had the opportunity to reflect on Wednesday night's game where the Bruins took a 6-3 victory over the Maple Leafs. While Toronto has failed to derail Boston's attempt all three times they have faced them this year, the B's have been flying high, going 9-0-1 in their last ten games.

Tim Thomas went a perfect 9-0-0 in the month of November and will look to win 10 straight games if he plays against the Maple Leafs tonight. He should have the green line considering the numbers he has put up against the club this year. He has three wins with a 1.67 GAA against the Leafs and has only given up five goals to them in those three games.

None of those goals have come from former Bruin, Phil Kessel.

In fact Kessel only has one point against the Bruins this year and it came as an assist in Wednesday night's game. Current Bruin, Milan Lucic on the other hand has five goals in three games against the Maple Leafs this year, and the first line really steps it up against this team.

Faceoff for Saturday's game is at 7:00 p.m. at TD Garden.
