Bruins Vs. Coyotes Final Score: Boston Wins 2-1 On Seidenberg Overtime Goal

Dennis Seidenberg scored his second goal of the season to give the Boston Bruins an overtime win over the Phoenix Coyotes at the amusingly named Jobing.com Arena in sunny Arizona. Boston won by a final score of 2-1. It was the seventh straight victory for the Bruins.

Chris Kelly beat Damon Langkow on a faceoff to set up the game-winning goal just 42 seconds into the extra frame. It was the third time Boston won in overtime this season, and the Bruins are now 3-1 after three periods of play.

Both teams scored in the first period, a period that featured fisticuffs between Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid and Coyotes winger Raffi Torres. McQuaid picked up a total of 17 minutes in penalties for the affair, including a 10-minute misconduct and an instigator call. After that period, it was relatively quiet, with just one penalty after that.

Boston picked up two points to give them a three-point lead over New York as the best team in the Eastern Conference. A Blackhawks loss gives the Bruins the best record in the NHL right now.

Boston travels to Dallas on Saturday for an 8:00 p.m. game against the Stars.
