The Eastern Conference's No. 1 team begins a three-game road trip this week (Dec. 26-Jan. 1), as the Boston Bruins travels to the Phoenix Coyotes, Wednesday, Dec. 28 (9 p.m. ET), and Dallas Stars, Saturday, Dec. 31 (8 p.m.), respectively. Currently, the Bruins (23-9-1, 47 points) are seven points ahead of the Northeast Divisions second-place team the Toronto Maple Leafs (18-13-4, 40 points), and one point ahead of the New York Rangers (21-8-4) and Philadelphia Flyers (21-9-4) for the conference's best-point total.
Boston is currently on a six-game winning streak and has won eight of its last 10 games. The Bruins are also 10-3-0 on the road this season.
Meanwhile, the Stars (20-13-1) and Coyotes (18-14-3, 39 points) are currently sitting in second and third place, respectively, in the Western Conference's Pacific Division. Dallas is 11-5-1 at home, while Phoenix has a home-record of 11-6-1.
