After missing Wednesday's practice with an undisclosed injury, Boston Bruins center Rich Peverley missed practice again on Thursday due to the same unknown injury. Having missed his second straight practice, his status for Friday's clash with the Florida Panthers is in question. Bruins head coach Claude Julien plans to handle this situation as a wait-and-see situation.
"[He's] not 100 percent," Bruins coach Claude Julien said Thursday. "We kept him off the ice and we'll see [Friday] whether we skate him in the morning and try to get him ready for the night or whether we'll wait and give him that extra rest." (via ESPN Boston)
Peverley has been one of the most productive Bruins this season, as he leads the team in assists and is third on the team in points. Peverley works primarily on the third line of the Bruins with Chris Kelly and Benoit Pouliot. If Peverley cannot go, the Bruins will likely use Zach Hamill in his place.
