Bruins Vs. Flyers: B's Chase Bryzgalov, Lead Flyers 5-0 Through Two Periods

After getting four goals past him in the first period, the Boston Bruins were finally able to chase Flyers goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov from the game. The reason being that they were able to get get another goal past Russia born goalie.

Nathan Horton ended Bryzgalov's day when he netted his ninth goal of the season in the seventh minute of the second period off an assists from Zdeno Chara and Rich Peverley. Replacing Bryzgalov was Sergei Bobrovsky, someone the Bruins know all to well from the playoffs last season. However to this point, the Bruins have yet to score off of him.

Through two periods, Bruins goalie Tim Thomas continues to look sharp. To this point, he's saved all 23 shots the Flyers have sent toward him.

The biggest news of the period had to be when Bruins forward Milan Lucic was ejected from the game for a game misconduct after getting in a tussle with the Flyers' Zac Rinaldo after checking him from behind. Lucic's five minute major marks the Bruins' eleventh penalty of the day. But to this point, it's been all B's in this one.
