Senior forward Corey Trivino has been kicked off the BU hockey team as of Monday night, according to sources. His removal from the team is reportedly due to an arrest Sunday night for breaking and entering and assault with an attempt to rape. (via The Boston Hockey Blog)

Trivino is sixth in the nation in scoring with 13 goals and leads the Terriers with 17 points through 15 games this season. Trivino, the No. 36 overall pick of the New York Islanders in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, was tied for second in points (28) and assists (20) as a junior and was part of BU's national championship team in the 2008-09 season.
