The Boston Bruins schedule resumes this week with three games, beginning on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Kings (7 p.m., NESN).
The Bruins have returned to earth after more than a full month without a regulation loss, losing twice in their past three games. In their most recent outing, the Bruins outlasted the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-3 with the help of two Joe Corvo goals and three Milan Lucic assists.
The Kings have lost four straight and now rest in fourth place in the Pacific Division. Boston will likely be without Zdeno Chara on Tuesday. Their big defenseman is optimistic he won't miss too much time after a collision against Columbus and said his injury feels "better than I expected," but is still unlikely against Los Angeles.
After meeting the Kings, Boston's week continues on Wednesday against the Ottawa Senators (7:30 p.m.m, NESN, TSN, RDS), then concludes on Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers (1 p.m., NESN, NHLN).
