Bruins vs. Devils: David Clarkson, Chris Kelly Net Goals In Second

After two periods of play, neither team has taken an advantage on the scoreboard. Devils still hold the advantage in shots, putting up 12 more for a 24-19 lead after two periods.

David Clarkson started the scoring with a one timer from the left circle at 10:46 of the period. The goal came during a 5-on-3 after the Bruins were called for both a hooking penalty and a delay of game. With 39 seconds with two extra men, the Devils took advantage and put the puck in the back of the net.The Bruins are 4-5-0 when allowing the first goal of the game.

They started the come back at 14:52, when Chris Kelly took over and found himself crashing the net with no one trying to cover him. He skated through the slot and netted a turnover from the Devils defense and tied the game.

Unlike the first period, Chara didn't register a shot on net in the second period, and Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton still haven't hit the net tonight.
