Bruins vs. Sabres: 16 Seconds Boost Bruins to 3-1 Lead After Two

It's no surprise that the Bruins once again put up two goals in under a minute to capture a lead late in the second period.

A goal by Tyler Seguin with just over six minutes to go in the period put the Bruins up 2-1. As has become customary this year for the Black and Gold, just 16 seconds later, Nathan Horton took note and netted his fifth goal of the season to put the Bruins up 3-1 with 5:55 left in the second.

But it was Rich Peverley that started the scoring for the Bruins. With 12:20 left in the period, he picked up a loose puck in the neutral zone and pushed his way past the defense and got to Miller, pushing it through the five-hole.

This is now the ninth time so far this year the Bruins have scored two goals in under a minute, and they are undefeated when scoring at least three goals in a game. When leading after the second period, the Bruins are 6-0-0.

Also, completely unrelated to the second period, here is the GIF for Lucic's hit on Ryan Miller back in the first period.
