Boston Bruins Hoping Adam McQuaid Will Be Ready By Thursday's Game Vs. Canadiens

Adam McQuaid could be back on the ice for the Boston Bruins as soon as Thursday night when the B's host the rival Montreal Canadiens at TD Garden. Bruins head coach Claude Julien said that it's a matter of timing with McQuaid, who went head first into the boards during the B's win over the Carolina Hurricanes on October 12.

"He's feeling good," said Julien. "It's just a question of time here. I'm optimistic and that's what I'm allowed to be when it comes to him being ready for Thursday. I've made some comments in the past and they've come back to bite me, but he's been fine for a few days now. I'm very confident that things will keep going in that direction." (via CSNNE.com)

Steven Kampfer received McQuaid's playing time during his absence. In three games this season, McQuaid has two assists and a plus/minus of plus-two for Boston.
