Bruins 3, Rangers 2: Tyler Seguin's Goal Helps Boston Edge New York, 3-2

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Tyler Seguin netted the go-ahead goal and Tim Thomas made 34 saves to lead Boston past the New York Rangers, 3-2, at Madison Square Garden.

Milan Lucic and Mark Recchi also scored for the Bruins, who ended a five-game losing streak on Broadway.

Claude Julien moved into sixth place on the club's all-time list with his 143rd victory in his 500th game as an NHL head coach as Boston won in Manhattan for the first time since January 20, 2008.

Brandon Dubinsky and Marian Gaborik notched goals for the Rangers, who had their three-game win streak brought to an end. Henrik Lundqvist took the loss after yielding three goals on only 20 shots.
