Krejci's Return May Be 2-3 Weeks Away

Boston Bruins forward David Krejci will be out longer than the original one week timeline announced by the team.

Bruins’ general manager Peter Chiarelli told the Boston Globe that Krejci’s recovery from the concussion he suffered after a hit by the St. Louis BluesT.J. Oshie on Saturday evening will take 2-3 weeks.

Krejci will undergo tests shortly to get a better status on his recovery, reports the Globe:

“Krejci, with two goals and eight assists in 11 games, will undergo an exertion test in the next 24-48 hours. How he responds to that light workout could provide indication of how soon he’ll be ready for action.”
