Tuukka Rask, the 23-year old from Finland, was the first off the ice during the team's morning skate on Thursday, meaning he'll be the starting goalie for tonight's home-opener against the Capitals.
Rusk has started just one of Boston's four games in 2010, a 5-2 loss in the season-opener against the Coyotes in Prague. He allowed four goals and stopped 32 of the 36 shots he faced.
"It's fun," Rask said of starting the home opener. "It's been a while since the last start, so it should be great."
Tim Thomas has started the other three games, all wins, including Tuesday night's 3-1 over the Capitals in D.C.
