Boston Bruins center Marc Savard is inching his way back from a serious bout of post-concussion syndrome, including bike workouts, according to Joe Haggerty of Comcast SportsNet New England.
Savard is preparing for a physical exertion test sometime within the next week, according to Haggerty’s Tuesday afternoon report:
“The test hasn’t been scheduled yet, but he’s expected to undergo it within the next week or so with the team now back in Boston — provided Savard continues to make progress. When the source was asked if the test was weeks away, the reply was: “Probably sooner than that.’”
Savard had failed a exertion test upon his report to training camp in September.
