VIDEO: Tyler Seguin Scores First NHL Goal

On June 25, the Boston Bruins selected Tyler Seguin with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Less than four months later, he has scored the first of what will (hopefully) be many NHL goals.

It was the third goal in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Coyotes, and was started with a great outlet pass from Michael Ryder

In the third, history was made. Tyler Seguin scored his first NHL goal on a breakaway. Seguin was sprung by an incredible pass from Michael Ryder. Ryder lobbed the puck over the Coyotes, who had collapsed into the Boston zone, and Seguin was wide open in the neutral zone and slipped it by Bryzgalov.

Afterward, the 18-year old recounted the reception he got from his teammates. Well, he tried to anyways.

"I don't remember much of what anyone said, to be honest,'' said Seguin. "But Shawn Thornton [back at the bench] gave me a pretty strong punch in the arm.''
