The Ohio State Buckeyes will play a home-and-home series with the Boston College Eagles in 2020 and 2021. Boston College will travel to Columbus, Ohio in 2020 and Ohio State will travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass. in 2021.
At one point there had been some speculation that Boston College might fill the hole left when Vanderbilt backed out of the Buckeye's 2013 schedule. It now appears that San Diego State will likely play Ohio State in 2013, but Boston College and OSU did reach an agreement to play in the future. The Buckeyes have won all three previous meetings between the schools, with the most recent meeting taking place in 1995.
Ohio State has already scheduled games with TCU in 2018 and 19, Oregon in 2020 and 21, and Texas in 2022 and 23 in addition to the BC games.
The Buckeyes are currently No. 6 in the AP Top 25 and hold a 9-0 record with three games to play, but a postseason ban will keep them from contending for a national championship this year. Boston College is struggling this season at just 2-6.
