The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade veteran Leandro Barbosa to the Washington Wizards in exchange for guard Jordan Crawford, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Barbosa is making the league minimum $1.2 million, but is out for the season after a left ACL tear, suffered earlier in February.

Crawford had seen a diminished role with the team as his minutes fell from 35.8 per game in Dec., to 22.5 in Jan. and just 12.5 in Feb. through eight games -- four of which he did not receive any playing time. The strong play of rookie Bradley Beal likely spelled the end for Crawford in Washington.
This season, Crawford was averaging 13.2 points and 3.7 assists for the Wizards -- close to his career totals of 13.4 points and 3.1 assists. Crawford was the former 27th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft of the Nets, and was traded to the Atlanta Hawks during his rookie season.
