Super Bowl 2013 schedule: Ravens to play 49ers for Lombardi Trophy

The Baltimore Ravens are set to square off against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3. Who will hoist the Lombardi Trophy?

The schedule for Super Bowl XLVII is officially set, after the New England Patriots were upset by the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. The Ravens, the No. 4-seed in the AFC after going 10-6 during the regular season, will take on the San Francisco 49ers in New Orleans on Feb. 3 for the right to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

The Ravens advance on the strength of an impressive performance against the Pats. Ray Lewis racked up 14 tackles, leading a front seven that harassed Tom Brady and the Pats' running game for 60 minutes. They will take on perhaps the only other defense to match their physicality in the 2013 NFL Playoffs. The Niners also have Colin Kaepernick on their side. Against the Atlanta Falcons, he went 16-for-21 passing for 233 yards and a touchdown.
