Revolution Vs. Crew Lineups: Fagundez And Imbongo Start, Feilhaber Back On Bench

The New England Revolution have once again put out a shuffled lineup as they fight to cope with injuries, international duty, and fatigue against the Columbus Crew on Wednesday night. Head coach Jay Heaps apparently saw something he liked on Saturday against Philadelphia, however, as he elected to leave his back line unchanged.

Diego Fagundez will reprise his role as one of the two starting strikers, and he will be joined by Dimitry Imbongo, who saw time off the bench at the weekend. Imbongo has impressed with his hold-up play and came close to a winning goal with a long-range strike against the Union.

In midfield, Ryan Guy and Kelyn Rowe replace Fernando Cardenas and Benny Feilhaber. Both of the latter players are on the bench.

Once again, Kevin Alston will play at left-back, with Florian Lechner getting a second straight start at right-back. Darrius Barnes will also partner Stephen McCarthy in the middle, though A.J. Soares was fit enough to make an appearance on the bench.
