College Football Rankings, Week 6: Boston College, UConn absent from Coaches Poll

Although both area schools are out of the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, teams in the ACC and Big East are making noise.

While both the Boston College Eagles and UConn Huskies are not found in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, their opponents in the ACC and Big East are making noise in the latest rankings.

In the ACC, the Florida State Seminoles were able to jump to No. 3 in the latest AP Poll, and they remain in fourth in the Coaches Poll. The Clemson Tigers re-entered the Top 15 after a win over the Eagles on Saturday.

Meanwhile in the Big East, Louisville continues to receive the most recognition, as they come in at No. 16. Fellow Big East schools Rutgers and Cincinnati come in at No. 21 and No. 23, respectively.
