NCAA Football Rankings, Week 6: Boston College absent, but ACC teams make moves

After another loss to the Clemson Tigers, the Boston College Eagles are again not in the latest polls, but some ACC teams were able to improve their position.

While the latest AP Top 25 rankings don't include the Boston College Eagles, fellow ACC teams were able to make moves up the polls.

The Florida State Seminoles moved up to the No. 3 spot after defeating South Florida on the road Saturday. They were previously ranked fourth. They hopped over the LSU Tigers, who struggled to defeat Towson at home Saturday night.

The Clemson Tigers saw a slight jump from 17th to 15th after defeating the Eagles.

The only other ACC team to see an appearance in the polls is the Miami Hurricanes, who now appear in the 'Others Receiving Votes' list after gaining four votes following their victory over NC State.
