Deutsche Bank Championship 2012 Results: Rory McIlroy (-20) Wins At TPC Boston

Rory McIlroy shot a 4-under 67 on Monday to win the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston in Norton, MA.. McIlroy finished at 20-under for the tournament, just enough to hold off Louis Oosthuizen, who finished second at 19-under. Tiger Woods finished third.

McIlroy nearly cost himself the lead when he bogeyed the 17th hole but Oosthuizen also bogeyed the 17th and McIlroy was able to par the final hole to win. The win caps off four strong days of play from McIlroy. He shot a 65 in each of the first two rounds and followed that up with a 67 in both the third and fourth rounds.

Woods shot a 5-under 66 on Monday to finish at 18-under. Woods played a bogey-free round on Monday, finishing with five birdies and 13 pars. Phil Mickelson also shot a 5-under 66 Monday and finished in a tie for fourth place at 14-under.
