Clemson Vs. Boston College: Eagles trail Tigers, 10-7, after first quarter

After one quarter of play on Saturday at Alumni Stadium, the Boston College Eagles trail the Clemson Tigers, 10-7.

Boston College took an early 7-0 lead against Clemson courtesy of a 30-yard touchdown run from Andre Williams. The BC running back has 39 yards rushing on seven carries in the quarter. Eagles quarterback Chase Rettig is 4 of 7 passing on the day, for 44 yards.

Clemson has been led by quarterback Tajh Boyd, who is 8 of 11 passing for 89 yards, also gaining 32 yards on the ground. Boyd has Clemson's touchdown, scoring from six yards out on the ground. Statistically, Clemson has dominated Boston College, racking up 10 first downs and 173 yards of total offense in the first quarter.

Boston College has struggled to begin the season, with their lone win coming against the Maine Black Bears. In their last outing, the Eagles fell 22-13 to Northwestern.
