NFL odds Week 4, Patriots vs. Bills: New England opens as 3.5 point favorites

The New England Patriots open as 3.5 point favorites against the Buffalo Bills. Where do the odds currently stand?

The New England Patriots enter Sunday's game as favorites against the Buffalo Bills. The opening line for that game has the Patriots favored by 3.5 points. Various sports book websites have the current line favoring the Patriots at four or 4.5 points.

The total for this game opened at 50.5, though that has increased to anywhere from 51 to 52 points. Both teams through three games are averaging more than 27 points per game, and both defenses are allowing over 20 points per game.

The Bills are coming off a 24-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns where quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw three touchdowns and running back Tashard Choice ran for 91 yards. The Patriots on the other hand are coming off a 31-30 loss to the Baltimore Ravens where quarterback Tom Brady threw for 335 yards and a touchdown.

The Pariots defense, however, allowed Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco to throw for 382 yards and three touchdowns while running back Ray Rice ran for 101 yards and a touchdown.
