The first round of the PGA's Tour Championship has officially commenced, as a handful of players have teed off at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The Tour Championship is the final leg of the the FedEx Cup playoffs, which features the top two players in the standings, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, teeing off together at 1:55 p.m. ET.

McIlroy, who has won the last two FedEX Cup playoff events, enters with a 3,232-point lead on Woods, who can win the Cup by winning the Tour Championship. The scenarios are the same for Nick Watney, Phil Mickelson and Brandt Snedeker. The rest of the field, however, needs to win the Tour Championship and receive some help from any of the top five golfers.

Currently, Ryan Moore is the leader, as he's 2-under par thru three holes. Out of the eight players on the course, Moore is the only one under par.

Later on, Woodstock, Vt., native Keegan Bradley tees off at 12:55 p.m. with Steve Stricker. Bradley enters the tournament ranked 14th in the standings, but needs a victory and a lot to happen for him to earn the championship.
