TV Schedule, Sept. 19: Red Sox Vs. Rays Among Wednesday's Games

Major League Baseball

Boston Red Sox (68-81) at Tampa Bay Rays (78-70) -- 7:10 p.m. (TV/Radio: NESN, WEEI, 850 AM, 93.7 FM): Daisuke Matsuzaka will look to turn things around against the Rays. He is 1-5 this season with a 7.14 ERA. Against the Rays, he's just 2-7 with a 5.83 ERA in his career. Daisuke will face-off against Tampa's Chris Archer.

Oakland A's (84-63) at Detroit Tigers (78-69) -- 7 p.m. (TV: ESPN): Brett Anderson (4-1, 1.93 ERA) will face-off against Justin Verlander (14-8, 2.82) from Comerica Park.

Texas Rangers (87-60) at Los Angeles Angels (81-67) -- 10 p.m. (TV: ESPN): Texas pitcher Derek Holland (10-6, 4.50 ERA) takes the mound to face off against his Angels counterpart, C.J. Wilson (12-9, 3.73 ERA), from Angel Stadium of Anaheim.

College Football

Kent St. Golden Flashes (1-1) at Buffalo Bulls (1-1) -- 7 p.m. (TV: ESPNU): Both of these MAC teams are coming off losses against SEC opponents last weekend. Pay attention to the quarterback battle between Buffalo signal caller Alex Zordich and Kent State's Spencer Keith.

Soccer

Chelsea vs. Juventus (UEFA) -- 2:30 p.m. (TV: FSC): Chelsea begins its quest to become the first back-to-back winner of the Champions League.

P.R. Islanders vs. LA Galaxy (CONCACAF Champions League) -- 8 p.m. (TV: FSC): The Los Angeles Galaxy are looking to lock up a quarterfinal spot in the CCL with a victory.

U.S.A vs. Australia (Women's exhibition) -- 10 p.m. (TV: ESPN 2): The United States will be looking for its second consecutive victory over Australia. These two teams met on Sunday with the U.S. emerging victorious, 2-1.

CD Marathon vs. Seattle Sounders (CONCACAF) -- 10 p.m. (TV: FSC): These two clubs will face off in Honduras for this CCL match. A win by Seattle advances them to the quarterfinals.
