While your Boston Red Sox won't be playing in the World Series this year, there is still playoff baseball being played in New England by the Pawtucket Red Sox, the Triple-A affiliate of the Red Sox. On Tuesday night, the PawSox will square off against the Reno Aces in the Triple-A National Championship Game, which takes place at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina.

Pawtucket went 79-65 during the regular season and won the International League Governor's Cup after sweeping the Charlotte Knights, marking the third Governor's Cup and first since 1984. Nelson Figueroa, a veteran right-handed pitcher, will start for the PawSox against Reno. Figueroa posted two wins in two starts during the postseason.

Reno, which was 81-63 during the regular season, emerged as the champion of the Pacific Coast League and will turn to right-handed pitcher Trevor Bauer tonight on the mound. Bauer was the third overall pick in the 2011 MLD Draft and is ranked as the No. 6 prospect by MLB.com.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET and the game will air on NBC Sports Network.
