UMass Vs. Michigan Final Score: Wolverines Smack Minutemen, 63-13

UMass didn't have an answer for dual threat Tre Roberson of Indiana in last weekend's blowout loss at Gillette Stadium, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that it could not contain Denard Robinson, who threw for 291 yards and rushed for 105 more, and the Michigan Wolverines, being blown out 63-13 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, MI on Saturday.

Robinson had no problem picking apart the Minutemen defense, throwing for three scores and picking up another score on the ground. Michigan outgained UMass, 585-259, and eight different players scored touchdowns for the Wolverines, who improved to 2-1 this season.

Aside from Robinson, Fitzgerald Toussaint played well, rushing for 85 yards and a score and Drew Dileo had three catches for 91 yards. Michigan, however, did have a turnover.

Mike Wegzyn completed 14-of-29 passes for 141 yards to lead UMass (0-3). Michael Cox, the fifth year senior who transfered from Michigan, led the Minutemen rushing attack with 76 yards, and Deion Walker had four catches for 63 yards. Brendon Levengood made 2-of-3 field goals with a long of 32 yards for the Minutemen. UMass also committed one turnover.

UMass heads back home for its first MAC game against Miami (OH) next Saturday afternoon.
