UMass Vs. Michigan: Minutemen Trail Denard Robinson, Wolverines 42-13 At Halftime

The UMass Minutemen, in search of their first win this season, trail the No. 19 Michigan Wolverines 42-13 at halftime in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines offense, led by quarterback Denard Robinson, has overwhelmed the UMass defense through two quarters.

Robinson is 13 of 19 passing for 260 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception. He has also carried the ball eight times for 105 yards and a score.

Offensively, UMass has just 142 yards of total offense at the half. The lone touchdown for the Minutemen came on a 32-yard interception return by Christian Birt. Michigan, on the other hand, has rolled up an astonishing 425 yards of total offense through two quarters.

Quarterback Mike Wegzyn is 10 of 21 for UMass, for 97 yards. Running back Michael Cox has 55 yards on 11 rushing attempts. Kicker Brendon Levengood has made a 25-yard and 32-yard field goal in the game.
