2012 London Olympics Medal Count: Aly Raisman Wins Bronze, Gold, U.S. Trails China

The U.S. captured seven medals on Day 11 of the 2012 London Olympics. Only one of the medals was a gold one for the U.S., while American athletes also took home four silvers and two bronzes on Tuesday.

Massachusetts native Aly Raisman took home a gold medal in the women's gymnastics floor exercise event after winning bronze in the women's balance beam. Raisman also won a gold medal in the women's gymnastics team final on July 31.

The U.S. also won bronze in 100-meter women's hurdles (Kellie Wells). The U.S. silver haul was in 100-meter women's hurdles (Dawn Harper), women's omnium cycling (Sarah Hammer), men's high jump (Erik Kynard) and men's track, 1500-meters (Leo Manzano).

China won nine medals overall on Tuesday and extended their lead over the U.S. in the total count.
