London 2012 Olympics: Team USA Men's Basketball Gets Narrow Win Over Lithuania, 99-94

Team USA narrowly survived their match against Lithuania in men's basketball action, coming back in the fourth quarter to secure a 99-94 win and a 4-0 record in Group A play. Lithuania kept things close the entire game and went on a 9-2 run in the fourth quarter to take the lead, but crucial shots from Chris Paul and LeBron James took the game back and sealed the win for the U.S.

Lithuania took the lead with a little less than seven minutes remaining, and they were up by two a short time. With 5:39 remaining Chris Paul hit a three to take the lead, and LeBron hit a three-pointer of his own and a a dunk on a fast break to put things away. James had nine points down the stretch and, along with Carmelo Anthony, led the team in scoring. Both had 20 points, and Kevin Durant added another sixteen.

Team USA will take their 4-0 record into a match against Argentina on Monday, where they hope to regain their footing and post another dominant win.
