Seung-Yul Noh of South Korea shot a 9-under 62 to take the lead after opening-round action at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston in Norton, MA. Noh birdied three of the last four holes to finish one stroke ahead of American Chris Kirk.

Tiger Woods, Jeff Overton, and Ryan Moore all went 7-under and are tied for third. Rory McIlroy is tied for sixth after going 5-under on the day. Phil Mickelson shot 3-under to finish tied for 17th.

Woodstock, Vt. native Keegan Bradley recovered well after a disastrous start saw him bogey the first three holes. He went on to finish at even with a round of 71. Nick Watney, who won last week's Barclays at Bethpage Black, ended his round at 1-over.
