2012 U.S. Open Scores: Agnieszka Radwanska, Ana Ivanovic Dominate Tuesday; James Blake Advances Monday

Agnieszka Radwanska advanced to the second round of the 2012 U.S. Open on Tuesday by defeating Nina Bratchikova in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. The second-seeded Radwanska easily eliminated her Russian counterpart by winning six of seven break points and only hitting six errors in comparison to Bratchikova's 28.

In addition, 12th-seeded Ana Ivanovic advanced to the second round by defeating Elina Svitolina, 6-3, 6-2.

Harvard alumnus James Blake advanced to the second round on Monday afternoon when he defeated Slovak Lukas Lacko, 7-5, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. While Blake may not have played the cleanest of matches (49 unforced errors), he did manage to overpower his opponent, serving 11 aces to Lacko's four, as well as 39 winners to 22.

Blake will face Spain's Marcel Granollers in the second round.
