The Barclays 2012: Sergio Garcia Leads After Saturday

With three rounds in the books at the 2012 Barclays, Sergio Garcia has claimed the lead by two strokes over Nick Watney.

Garcia came into the day at 8-under and finished 10-under with a pair of birdies on the back nine 11th and 13th. The Spaniard was excellent in that stretch, overtaking Watney who went into Saturday's turn with a two-stroke advantage.

Watney appeared dominant early, but went into a funk starting on the 11th. From that point on, Watney bogeyed four of the remaining eight holes.

Tiger Woods is all but out of contention after finished the day with a 1-over 72. Woods looked good through the first two rounds, but couldn't get much going with four birdies but an unsightly five bogeys.

The best day belonged to Kevin Stadler, who shot a 6-under on the round to move from 42nd to 3rd place. The American is only three shots behind Garcia heading into the final day.
