2012 Barclays: Vijay Singh Climbing On Friday

Padraig Harrington still sits in the lead of the first FedEx Cup Playoffs event without having teed off for his second round, but contenders, including Vijay Singh, are scoring well to begin Friday.

Singh began his round at 3-under, and is now 3-under again through 17 holes to put him at 6-under on the tournament, a stroke off Harrington's lead. Bob Estes has bettered Singh on the day at 4-under, but they're tied on the tournament alongside Nick Watney and Brian Harman, who have yet to begin their second rounds.

Meanwhile, New England native Keegan Bradley is about to tee off for his second round, and is in the same place he was at the beginning of yesterday: even to par, although this time he's seven strokes off the lead. Brookline native James Driscoll has shaved a point off his score in his second round through 11 holes, and now sits at 1-over on the tournament
