Patriots Vs. Eagles Inactives: Tom Brady Leads A Large List Of Inactive Players For New England

The New England Patriots are playing the Philadelphia Eagles in a preseason contest Monday night. Or, at least, a team that resembles the Patriots are playing the Eagles.

New England will play without a host of notable players including Tom Brady, Jerod Mayo, Vince Wilfork and Aaron Hernandez. WEEI has the complete list of inactive players:

The following players were not spotted on the field during warmups in the moments before the Patriots-Eagles game Monday night: Jabar Gaffney, Tom Brady, Tavon Wilson, Kyle Arrington, Devin McCourty, Alfonzo Dennard, Jeff Demps, James Ihedigbo, Spencer Larson, Rob Ninkovich, Jerod Mayo, Tracy White, Marcus Zusevics, Matt Kopa, Logan Mankins, Vince Wilfork, Sebastian Vollmer, Aaron Hernandez, Visanthe Shianco, Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd, Daniel Fells, Jake Ballard, Myron Pryor, Gerard Warren and Jonathan Fanene

Monday night's game is New England's second preseason match, and evidently Bill Belichick is using it as a time to rest the majority of his starters. New England will be back on the field for their third preseason game Friday.
