Red Sox Vs. Yankees Lineups: Both Catchers In Against Hiroki Kuroda

The Red Sox are out for a series win Sunday night as they send Josh Beckett to the mound against Hiroki Kuroda. First pitch is at 8:05 p.m. EST with broadcasts on ESPN and WEEI.

Bobby Valentine will gamble with his lineup tonight in hopes of getting to the tough righty they face in Kuroda. Both catchers will appear in the order, with Jarrod Saltalamacchia taking the role of DH while Ryan Lavarnway starts behind the plate. This will allow the Sox to give their young prospect more time at the position he needs to learn while still keeping Salty's bat.

Cody Ross will miss out on the lineup, likely due to his unfavorable splits against RHP. Scott Podsednik will start in his place in right field, while Nick Punto and Pedro Ciriaco get the starts at third and short respectively.
