Evelyn Lozada, the wide of former New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Johnson, reportedly plans to file for divorce, according to Radar Online.
In light of allegations of both domestic assault and a pre-marital affair, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada is taking a strong stance against her estranged husband Chad "Ochocino" Johnson by filing for divorce after less than six weeks of marriage.
Lozada was allegedly head-butted by Johnson following an argument that resulted in her having to flee to neighbors for safety, as first reported by TMZ. Johnson, who was arrested following the incident, signed on with the Miami Dolphins after being waived by the Patriots this offseason, but was released by Miami less than 24 hours later.
Johnson's release also resulted in the cancellation of HBO's "Hard Knocks," which was profiling the Dolphins this preseason (mainly because of Johnson's presence) as well as the cancellation of the VH1 reality show, "Eve and Ocho."
Johnson recorded 15 catches for 276 yards and one score last season in New England.
