The Red Sox will look to avenge their Thursday night loss as they take on the Indians in the second game of a four-game series in Cleveland. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. EST with broadcasts on NESN and WEEI.
With the left-handed Chris Seddon on the mound, the Sox will shift around their lineup some. Scott Podsednik will make an appearance just one night after being re-signed--he had been traded to the Diamondbacks as part of the Craig Breslow deal--batting ninth and replacing Carl Crawford in left field.
Pedro Ciriaco and Jarrod Saltalamacchia will join Crawford on the bench despite the strong performance from the former in Thursday's loss. Mike Aviles will move up to bat second, while Dustin Pedroia returns to second base. Kelly Shoppach will play behind the plate, with Ryan Lavarnway getting the nod at DH.
