Tour de France 2012 Results: Thibaut Pinot Wins Stage 8, Bradley Wiggins Retains Yellow Jersey

Thibaut Pinot, 22, is the youngest rider in the 2012 Tour de France. On Sunday, he was able to climb the 98-mile stage from Belfort, France, to Porrentruy, Switzerland, and pick up the victory.

Pinot was trailed by the group of riders who are the leading the Tour de France overall. Pinot moved up to 13th place overall with the win on Sunday and trails overall leader Bradley Wiggins by 3'41". Wiggins finished fourth on Sunday but retained his yellow jersey and a 10-second lead over Cadel Evans who finished second on Sunday. Vincenzo Nabali came in fifth on Sunday but is third overall and just 16 seconds behind Wiggins.

Christopher Horner is top American after eight stages. He is 14th overall and trails Wiggins by 3'43".
